Like many people in my generation, I was not given any formal education about mental health and addictions issues. The extent of my education on these areas was probably my D.A.R.E. class in seventh grade, which basically instilled the message that ‘drugs are bad do not do them’ and scared the sh*t out of me rather than educated me to make my own informed decisions. Because of the lack of information provided, I never really understood what addiction was, and the way addiction was portrayed in the media left me feeling largely scared of drugs and the people who abuse them. It's been a minute!

Well ... I can honestly say I've dropped the ball on posting! In the last 6 months, I have spent more time focusing on myself, and my well-being than ever before which put my small business on the back burner. I'm going to do my best to do better. 2018 was a tough year and I can honestly say it made me so much stronger. (Does anyone else think ... ok seriously I'm strong enough, universe stop throwing hard sh*t my way?)! That was my 2018! However, amongst the sh*tty days, and brutal months - I met some amazing people, travelled to foreign countries, quit my full time job (Scary right!) and realized how kick ass my family and friends are! Photoshoot coming up!

Hi guys! It has been a while since I've written a post! I am trying my best to learn work / life balance - and lets just say ... it hasn't been easy! If anyone has some tips I'd love to hear them! We are doing a photoshoot this coming Sunday, January 28th at Revolver Coffee (Sorry ... they are typically closed on Sundays so there won't be coffee -- but there will be some snacks  ... because food!).
